Terms of Service

1. Service Description

PropDesk ("we," "us," or the "Platform") operates at algobots.io. The Platform provides simulated and live algorithmic trading tools for futures markets. Users can research, build, and manage AI-powered trading bots ("algobots") on virtual desks. Simulated trading uses virtual funds and does not involve real money. Live trading, when explicitly enabled by the user, executes real orders through supported brokerage accounts.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use PropDesk. The Platform is currently designed for users in the United States. By accessing the Platform, you represent that you meet these requirements and that your use complies with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction.

3. Accounts

PropDesk is currently invite-only. Access requires an account created through an authorized invitation. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Simulated vs. Live Trading

Simulated trading uses virtual funds in a sandboxed environment. No real money is at risk. Simulated results do not guarantee future performance in live markets. Fills, slippage, and market conditions in simulation may differ materially from live execution.

Live trading involves real capital and real risk. Live trading is never enabled automatically — it requires explicit user action and connection of a supported brokerage account (currently Schwab). You are solely responsible for any financial outcomes resulting from live trading activity on your account.

5. Futures Risk Disclosure

Trading futures involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for all investors. You may lose more than your initial investment. Past performance of any strategy, algobot, or backtested result is not indicative of future results. Hypothetical or simulated performance results have inherent limitations and do not represent actual trading.

You should only trade with funds you can afford to lose. Before engaging in live trading, you should carefully consider your financial situation, risk tolerance, and trading experience.

6. Not Financial Advice

PropDesk is not a registered investment advisor, broker-dealer, or financial planner. Nothing on this Platform constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. The information and tools provided are for informational and educational purposes only. You should consult a qualified professional before making any financial decisions.

7. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its software, design, AI agents, strategy framework, and associated content, is the intellectual property of PropDesk and its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Platform without prior written consent.

Strategies and configurations you create on the Platform remain yours. However, you grant PropDesk a non-exclusive license to use anonymized, aggregated performance data derived from your activity for the purpose of improving the Platform.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or to violate any applicable regulation
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or Platform systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt Platform infrastructure or services
  • Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract data from the Platform
  • Misrepresent simulated results as live trading performance
  • Use the Platform to manipulate markets or engage in wash trading
  • Share your account credentials or transfer your account to another person

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PropDesk and its operators, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or trading losses, arising from your use of the Platform.

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or the accuracy of any trading signals, backtests, or performance metrics.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion, with or without cause, at any time. You may request account deletion by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to access the Platform ceases immediately. Any open simulated positions will be closed. For live trading accounts, you are responsible for managing any open positions through your brokerage directly.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform. Your continued use of PropDesk after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
